The employee in this case was disabled and, in conjunction with occupational health, made a request for a number of adjustments. Having considered them, the employer decided that they represented a risk to the health and safety of its patients and therefore that it could not make them and the employee brought a tribunal claim for failure to make reasonable adjustments.
